NATIONAL DRUG FACTS WEEK – 2015

The week of Monday, January 26th is 2015 National Drug Facts Week. The Pine Hill Police Department will be joining this national health observance for teens to help shatter myths about drugs. During the week’s activities Ptl. Marino, Ptl. DiGiacomo and SRO Rowello will be spending time teaching D.A.R.E. and Keepin’ It Real at the John Glenn Elementary School, the Dr. Albert Bean Elementary School and the Pine Hill Middle School. D.A.R.E. and Keepin’ It Real are programs that help our Officers proactively take a stand against drugs with students by supplying facts directly to students during each session. The School District’s Guidance Team will also be reading drug facts each morning during announcements with the Pine Hill Police Department to continue the trend and support the nationally observed week.
