On March 11, 2015 at 3:39pm Pine Hill Officers were dispatched to the Wawa located at the intersection of W. Branch Avenue and Erial Road for the report of an unattended, suspicious package. As a precaution, the Wawa was evacuated and the area was secured. A shelter-in-place was ordered for the businesses near the incident location and vehicle traffic on Erial Road and Branch Avenue was detoured around the impacted area. Members from the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad responded and determined the package was empty and did not pose a threat. All shelter-in-place and vehicle restrictions were lifted at approximately 5:45pm.
