In 2014, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) launched the “Take 25” campaign which encouraged parents, grandparents, teachers and other concerned adults to take 25 minutes to talk to children about safety and abduction prevention. This May, NCMEC has transitioned Take 25 into a broader-based approach to include areas such as child sex trafficking and children with autism who wander. Information regarding the new campaign can be found at MissingKids.org/BeHereForKids
