DWI with minor passenger / Endangering the welfare of a child

On July 22, 2015 at approximately 12:00pm Pine Hill Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Turnersville Road for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival of the initial responding officers the operator of the vehicle was located in the vehicle and unconscious. Although the power lines were lying in the area of the vehicle, officers were able to safely remove the operator, identified as Erin Sanderlin of Berlin. EMS on location administered naloxone, successfully reversing an apparent opiate overdose. Two passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash at were identified as the operator’s husband, Brett Sanderlin of Berin and a two year old female. All involved parties were transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries and evaluation. Continued investigation into the cause of the crash led to the seizure of equipment used to crush and inhale pills.
