Members of the Pine Hill Police Department met with students from the Dr. Albert Bean School for Lunch with the Law after their poster won 1st place in the “Anti-Bullying” project that took place during the month of October 2015 for Safe Schools Month. Lunch with the Law brings officers, students and staff together on an individual level, while sharing a meal and discussing their interest in school programs.
Chief Winters, Lt. Stettler, Sgt. Smuda, Ptl. Barrett, Ptl. McElroy, Ptl. Heron and K9 Partner Duke, SRO DiGiacomo, and S/O Brennan shared pizza with staff and the winning students from Ms. Kalvaitis’ 5th Grade Class. The officers were honored to recognize the students for a job well done. The students chosen were able to work together as a team and create posters that conveyed the message of treating others with kindness and respect. Congratulations to Timothy Moore, Zapnee Griggs, Gabriella Rivera, and Lily Horner.
Members of the Pine Hill Police Department and the Dr. Albert Bean School are extremely proud of all who participated and helped make another Safe Schools Month successful.
