On January 7, 2016 SRO DiGiacomo had the opportunity to meet with the Pine Hill Middle School Student Leadership Team in collaboration with the Pine Hill Middle School Guidance Staff for a “working lunch”. The selected 7th and 8th grade students, SRO DiGiacomo and the Guidance Staff worked together to discuss the qualities they believed a great leader should possess, along with viewing inspirational …videos on becoming a better leader in their community.
Students also discussed ideas on how to become leaders within their school community, specifically by creating an Ambassador Program for new incoming students along with improving their peer mediation program. The Pine Hill Middle School Guidance Staff along with the Pine Hill Police Department look forward to helping the students reach their goals throughout the year as they strive to become leaders and role models of their community.
