2017 Read Across America

Pine Hill Officers joined the Pine Hill School District and other community members for the annual NEA Read Across America Read-a-Thon. Fourteen members of the Pine Hill Police Department participated in the event held on March 3rd at the Dr. Albert Bean and John H. Glenn Elementary Schools, reading one or more of Dr. Seuss’ classic children’s books to the enthusiastic students. This year, a total of 45 different classes had Pine Hill Officers read a Dr. Seuss classic.

Over the past nine years, officers have read to an estimated 310 different classes between the two schools (over 4000 students).
